Can you even imagine the rejoicing, the chapel time of
praise with our students, and the faith-building that came
because of that one event? Humanly, it looked like an "if
only"…but with God it was a "what if" moment. "What if I
want to show you My loving provision in a miraculous way?
What if I want to teach you to walk by faith and not by
sight? What if I want to give you a new testimony that will
enable you to trust Me through twenty-five more years of
ministry?" That's exactly what He did!
In Philippians 1:6 Paul says, "For I am confident of this
very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect
it until the day of Christ Jesus." Paul could accept all of
his circumstances, good or bad, fair or unfair, wanted or
unwanted, because he was "confident" that God was at
work and would continue to use him until He returned.
