At CSN Books and Legacy Line Publishing, your book is proofed at least twice, once after the edit and once after typesetting. These proofs are performed by two separate proofers.
The typesetting process involves both technical and artistic elements. The technical side has to do with the proper alignment of the book, including the placement of headers and footers, and the creating of a flow that keeps the reader from being frustrated. This process can be very difficult because it is like working with one large file. If you change something on page 9 of a 100 page book, then that one change could impact pages 10 through 100, thus causing the typesetter to reformat or at least re-examine the flow for the entire book.
The artistic side deals with how a typesetter presents the book. This could include a unique presentation of the chapter headings, font choices, a special design, picture insertions, call-out boxes or Scripture layout. Typesetting is one of the most critical and time-intensive phases of a book’s creation, yet it seems to be vastly undervalued by many low-budget publishers. As a result, many authors who believed they were getting a quality product from a publisher ended up with an inferior book that could not be promoted properly within the publishing industry due to shoddy typesetting.

The Formatting of Your Book
Typesetting is converting the “typewriter” look of a manuscript into lines and pages of type that make it look like a professional book.
A well typeset book must meet the industry standards concerning leading, kerning, headers and footers, and these areas are critical to the success of your book (however, it is not critical for you to understand these terms). Typesetting is often the most ignored phase of a book’s creation process by self-publishers, and even by many subsidy publishers. It is frustrating for us here at CSN Books and Legacy Line publishing to constantly see the poor typesetting jobs our authors books have received from other publishers. We are constantly having to undo the work of others just to bring the book up to a level that is acceptable within the publishing industry.

Richard Barth Basic Bible Docterine

Often when we hear the words "doctrine" and "theology" we are left with an idea of abstract religious concepts of interest only to those trained in the field. In their simplest definitions, though, doctrine is teaching and theology is the study of God. Nothing can be more practical and exciting than coming to know and understand our Lord, and what He has taught us through His Word.
This book brings to written form a Bible study course developed by the author during his almost 50 years of ministry. Its purpose is to take a systematic look at the teachings of the Bible and to do so in such a way that any Christian, regardless of his educational background, can understand.
Over the years this Bible study course has helped many come to a practical understanding of the Bible. It has helped them see that the Bible is not teaching a religious system but rather it is revealing God and His ways, man and his need, and God's provision to meet man in his need. Through approaching the scriptures in this way we come to see how truly awesome God is, and how truly life changing a relationship with Him can be.
