To preen, or not to preen?
The question of the day
Should I just go on with life
Assuming I’m okay?
Should I stop and clean my heart
Before my day begins?
Or should I just get going with
My work that never ends?
Is there time to read a verse
And all my sins confess?
Is there time to pray that God
Will free me of my stress?
If there’s not time to talk with God
Before I hit the road
Then I must realize my life
Will be a heavy load.
