The second part of our daily preparation would be to
“waterproof” ourselves by taking a Scripture verse to commit
to memory for the day. We would then use it to defeat
Satan’s attacks as they came thoughout our days. When
attacked with thoughts such as, “This problem isn’t going
away and your ministry is going to suffer greatly,” we
would recite “He who began a good work in you will perform
it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6)
