The midwives understood that God is a higher authority than
Pharaoh, and chose to obey Him. God responded by blessing
them! Verse 21 says He established households for them...God
gave them secure, stable homes.
You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help
and their shield. [Psalm 115:11]
