Never substitute the divine plan with a natural, manmade
plan. It will fall short every time, and you’ll miss the
mark.
When Paul was on the road to Damascus, on his way to
imprison Christians, a light shone round about him and he
fell to the earth.
Jesus told Paul,
…IT IS DANGEROUS AND IT WILL TURN OUT
BADLY FOR YOU to keep kicking against the goad
[to offer vain and perilous resistance].
