A Bad Beginning
Know from Proverbs chapter 1 that fearing the Lord is the
beginning of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Refusing to
fear Him is also a beginning...the beginning of a long, hard road
of separation between an individual and God.
Then they will call on Me, but I will not answer; they will
seek Me diligently, but they will not find Me, because they
hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord.
[Proverbs 1:28-29]
