This is what Paul meant when he wrote the above
recorded passage in Ephesians 4:22-24. He told them
“Strip yourselves of your former nature…” Change the way
you think and act. How? Paul tells us in verse 23. “…Be
CONSTANTLY renewed in the spirit of your mind...” He’s
letting us know that for the rest of our lives it will be a continual
need for us to renew our mind with God’s Word. We
will not reach the place where we no longer need to do this.
As long as we are in the world, the thinking of the world
will try to enter back in, but we overcome that by constantly
feeding and acting on His Word.
