Once we realize that our plans, our earthly treasures,
our desires to have our own way...are all “dog dung” or
“garbage” in God’s sight, we can learn to “mount up with
wings as eagles” and soar. My husband and I have been
asked to give up honor and accept humility, give up
dreams and accept growth, give up security and accept living
by faith. But I wouldn’t give up a moment of it. How
thankful I am that God continually reminds me that “His
ways are not my ways” and I’ve chosen His way...for life!
