Above the Storm-Carol Hopson

What made the difference in these two situations? I’ll
explain it with another eagle story. The eagle’s eyes are
truly amazing. You see, their eyes are made up of a series
of tissues that are folded into pleats called pectins. There
are tubes running thoughout these pleats which are filled
with an electrolyte fluid which is a conductor of electricity
and is affected by a magnetic field. Amazingly, these
pectins align themselves with the North Pole in relation to
the eagle’s place of birth. By the time they are mature, the
alignment is permanently set. Therefore, when the eagle
is far from home, there is actually pain or discomfort in his
eyes. The pain or pressure stops only when the eagle
returns to his place of birth. This is why he can find his
way home from thousands of miles away...God has given
him a built-in compass.
