Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed
quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among
them are given fully to do evil. [Ecclesiastes 8:11]
God is not anxiously waiting for people to do something wrong
so He can punish them. He weeps over sin and the suffering of
His people. He chose to suffer the ultimate consequence for sin
Himself...death! But when you disobey God there is a sentence
on your life: it may take five, ten, even fifteen years, but as sure
as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, your season of
sowing sin will reap a heartbreaking harvest of consequences.
