Daniel was carried as a youth into captivity into Babylon,
along with the remainder of God’s people during the
reign of King Nebuchadnezzar.
Favor was upon Daniel, and he was chosen to be
trained so that he could serve before the king.
One night King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed a dream.
However, when he awaked, he forgot the dream, and didn’t
know it’s meaning; yet he understood it to carry significance.
He sent out on urgent call to all the wise men in his
kingdom, commanding that they interpret the dream for
him. But since he had forgotten the dream, they also had
to tell him what the dream was.
