God never deals with His people on the basis of fear. Any fear is not the dealings of God. Never entertain the thought that God is dealing with you or correcting you through fear. Fear is of the enemy; therefore, we have total authority over it. It’s important to recognize fear for what it is. Some have lived with fear for so long in different arenas of their life that they no longer recognize that the decisions they’re making and the actions they’re taking are in line with fear rather than faith. Don’t entertain thoughts of fear. Don’t give place to the devil by listening to him. Yes, you may hear the threats that fear makes, but don’t listen to them by turning them over in your mind. Each time thoughts of fear come, speak to them saying, “Fear, I resist you. I refuse to take those thoughts. I will not be afraid. You leave me in Jesus’ Name,” and he will flee. But after you resist him, don’t touch those thoughts of fear in your thought life; rather, begin praising God for His Word.
