“So every time a bill came we would get on our knees and
pray, ‘Lord, open a door!’ Each time, without fail, a side job
would come up. I did not advertise that I was doing side work
and the church was small then so there wasn’t a lot of work
coming from the church members. These jobs were coming from
people who just called to ask if I still did carpentry work. For
more than a year I got enough side work to pay all the bills and
stay in the ministry.”
Eventually God prospered our church enough to make Dan a
fulltime staff member able to support his family on the income he
earns doing God’s work. The Children’s Ministry Dan believed
God wanted him to begin now serves hundreds of children each
week. God opened doors of provision and ministry because Dan
and Darcy prayed.
