One book I would like to recommend is A Consumer’s
Guide to Dentistry by Gordon J. Christensen, D.D.S.,
MSD, Ph.D. It is published by Mosby, and has many fine
photographs depicting many dental procedures, pathologic
conditions and treatment results.
If you have a dental school in your area, it is often
possible to visit their bookstore and actually purchase
books used by the dental students. These books are very
expensive because they are quite technical, have a small
consumer demand, and are frequently updated to keep up
with current research.
