Mrs. Carol Hopson-Above the Storm

What can we learn from the eagle during these times of
physical sickness or emotional turmoil? An eagle is seldom
sick because he is very careful about his daily diet. He will
choose different foods, depending on his body’s needs and
unlike his cousin, the vulture, he will never eat rotten or
decaying food. But when he is sick, he usually finds a high,
secluded place and lays on his back with outspread wings.
He then stays completely still and focuses his eyes on the
sun until his strength has returned and he feels healthy
and ready to soar again.
