You can see how distressed and hopeless David felt in
verse four. But, we then see how he opened up his heart
and will to the Lord and God met his need. The statement
that strikes me the most is “As for God, his way is perfect.”
David’s situation had not changed and I’m sure he didn’t
know how it was all going to turn out. But, he showed his
complete submission to God with those words. My heart
has rested only when I’ve been able to say...as for God His
way is perfect...and truly mean it. It’s always a choice!
