The enemy will oppose you over this subject of your authority; he
doesn’t want you to gain knowledge of your authority over him and
he doesn’t want you to exercise your authority. He will oppose you to
try to make you think your authority doesn’t work and to try to back
you down from using your authority. Once you successfully stand
your ground against the enemy in one arena, he will still seek to gain
entrance by attacking you in a different arena. But no matter what the
opposition, continue to exercise your authority and stand your ground.
Don’t let his opposition stop you from exercising your authority –
that’s why he comes against you, but we’re not ignorant of this strategy
he uses.
In every encounter with the enemy always remember that he is
defeated, the victory is yours, and you are seated far above all your
enemies.
