Barnabus was in God’s perfect will as he traveled with
Paul, but when he determined to get his own way, he left
God’s perfect will and went to God’s “acceptable” will, His
“permissive” will. God “permitted” Barnabus to have his
own way, didn’t He?
God will permit you to have your own way in life, but
you’ll have to abandon God’s perfect will to have your own.
No doubt, Barnabus thought he won that day. But did
he really win in getting his own way? No one does.
