Whatever the cost for obeying God, generally it is small in
comparison to the price you pay for disobedience. The emotional
pain of relinquishing an ungodly relationship is nothing
compared to the agonizing consequences for being involved in
one.
Still, far too many Christians in America think they can
disobey God and escape the consequences. It is my sincere hope
and prayer that we are living in a time when that philosophy is
being stripped away. Hopefully people will begin to reject their
propensity to rationalize and justify sin. The real and
devastating consequences for sin in our society are so evident
that even non-believers are beginning to recognize them.
