THE PERMISSIVE WILL OF GOD
To look at the next level of God’s will, which is His
acceptable, or permissive, will of God, let’s see an example
in the Old Testament.
God had delivered His people from Egypt and brought
them into the Promised Land. Other nations around them
were ruled by kings, but God didn’t want that for His people,
so He gave them judges and prophets to be in authority
over them.
