Rose Gomez on battred woman

-Every 9 seconds in America, a woman is being beaten. One third of all high school aged females have been battered.
-This year, 20% of all emergency room cases are the result of domestic violence.
-Three million women in America were battered requiring an average of one-week hospital stay.
-Two million women are killed annually by their abuser.
-Five billion dollars were spent in 1996 on medical expenses for domestic violence.
-3.3 million children are victims, suffering low self-esteem, and have lost their self-trust.
-These statistics lead to a high risk of alcohol, drug abuse, juvenile delinquency, along with suicide.
There is only one way to put an end to this vicious cycle. Show a way out! “A Seed of Faith Moves Mountain” is a step-by-step book that offers many alternatives for anyone in an abuse cycle, telling my own story about my struggle and challenge for a better quality of life. This book can be a guide for many people and generations to come. The healing alternatives of courage, hope and faith are the powerful messages in this book.

I know Rose very well, and her book is one that should be read by every woman who has had some form of abuse - be it sexual or psychological.
