MOVING INTO THE UNKNOWN Abraham was called by God to leave his family and home, and to move into the unknown. He spent the rest of his days following God into the unknown because he was living and moving in faith. He left his home for a city whose builder and maker was God. God didn’t give him a map; he just followed God into the unknown every day. Hebrews 11:8 tells us, “[Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although HE DID NOT KNOW OR TROUBLE HIS MIND ABOUT WHERE HE WAS TO GO” (Amplified Bible). Do you have the faith to move forward into the unknown? When God leads in a certain direction, faith will go, even when it doesn’t know all the details; faith will go “not knowing”, because faith isn’t disturbed by all the “unknowns” of life, for it is focused on the One who knows all. We are to stay focused on the One who gives all the answers as we need them. Questions are of the mental realm. Questions are of the natural realm. Answers are of the faith realm. Answers are of the spirit realm. Answers are of God’s realm. There are no questions in God. There are no questions in God’s realm. Instead of being occupied with the questions life presents, leave the natural realm and move into the faith realm. Trust the God of all answers to lead you through His Word and by His Spirit.
