FAITH IN THE FACE OF THE STORM Jesus walked on the platform that day in the service and rebuked me by asking, “Where’s your faith?” Jesus asked His disciples that same question. Luke 8:22-25 tells of the incident when Jesus was in the back of the boat sleeping when a great storm arose. The boat started filling up with water and the disciples thought they would sink. Some of these men were fishermen; they were used to navigating through difficult conditions on the water, but the storm was great and they became fearful. Before they started their journey, Jesus had said, “…let us go over unto the other side…,” and they all believed they were going to reach the other side, so they launched off. But when the storm arose, they changed what they believed. They didn’t believe they were going to reach the other side anymore – they believed they were going to sink.
