There may be times you have peace in your heart regarding a situation, but have opposition coming against the mind. Follow the peace in your heart regardless of any mental opposition you may have. You’re always safe in following the peace in your heart, for that’s one way God leads you. Isaiah 55:12 reads, “For ye shall go out with JOY, and BE LED FORTH WITH PEACE… .” Colossians 3:15 tells us, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts… .” The Amplified Bible reads, “And let the peace…from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds… .” What does the umpire in a game do? He makes the call. When faced with a decision, let peace make the call. One way God will lead you is through peace. If you have peace in your heart about doing something, follow it. If you don’t have peace, then don’t do it. If you do have peace in your heart about something, then you also have faith for it, for peace and faith are companions – they move together.
