Do you think he said, “Becca, I’m too tired and don’t feel like
carrying you right now.” Or do you suppose he shamed her
for getting tired and admitting she needed his help? Of
course not! My husband loves those grandchildren more
than his own life and He will do anything to have them curl
up in his arms so that he can have the chance to snuggle
with them. So, he looked at Becca with heartfelt love and
scooped her up into his arms and carried her the rest of the
way, loving every minute of it. He was so glad that she
wanted to be held that it was the first thing he told me
when he got back.
