James 4:2 tells us, “…ye have not, because ye ask not.”
Again, we see the great need to ask.
“Well,” someone may ask, “If God knows I need something,
why doesn’t He give it to me, even if I don’t ask?”
The answer to that question is, knowledge doesn’t
equal permission. Just because He has knowledge that
you have a need, that doesn’t mean He has your permission
to supply that need.
