Can a woman forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for a child she has born? [Isaiah 49:15] In over 20 years of being a mother, I admit that there have been plenty of times when I felt a deep, abiding, joyous love for my three children. But, there have been occasional times over the past 20 years when I have felt moments of extreme frustration and anger.
