A Sound Disciplined Mind-Mrs Nancy Dufresne
When we come to God in prayer to lay our needs before Him, we
are not to come with words of condemnation, guilt, and failures of
the past in our mouths; rather, we are to come before Him knowing
that He has blotted out and forgotten all confessed sins. We are to
come to Him with faith in our mouths. We are to come to Him with
His Word in our mouths, for that’s when we’ll receive. Our faith
won’t work with failures and sins of the past in our mouths. Guilt and
condemnation are poor receivers; they will keep us from being bold
to lay hold of and receive needed answers from God.
The enemy is the accuser of the brethren, and when you pray he
may try to remind you of your past in an attempt to keep you from
receiving from God. But answer him with the Word, stating that you
know your sins are blotted out and forgiven; then rise up in faith and
lay hold of that which God has provided for you.
Live free and walk free from the past, failures, sin, guilt and condemnation
so that you can freely receive all God has made yours.
