STEP OVER IT! Paul stated, “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries” (I Corinthians 16:9). Where are the adversaries? As Peter said, don’t think this opposition is a strange thing – it is a strategy of the enemy to try to hinder or block your progress. Just keep moving ahead! Jesus told us, “Behold, I give unto you power (authority) to step over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). One definition for the word “tread” is to step over.
