God leads us through our spirits, not through our minds or our
bodies. Proverbs 20:27 tells us, “The spirit of man is the candle of
the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” This means that
God is going to enlighten you through your spirit. When God speaks
to you, He will speak to your spirit. What He says to your spirit will
float up and enlighten your mind; it comes from your spirit within.
But when the devil speaks to you, he speaks to your mind; his words
come against your mind from the outside.
