Prosthodontics is the specialty of dentistry that trains
dentists to handle the most difficult restorative cases.
Cases prosthodontists treat often involve multiple
implants and complex partials. They are experts at
completing complex bridges, and they are highly trained in

Like other specialists, prosthodontists must complete
their four years of dental school training, and then go on for
an additional two or three years of training so that they can
handle any complex restorative situation.
