WELL DONE, MY PRECIOUS CHILD
I’d like to hear my Savior say
“Well done, my precious child!”
I’d like to know I’m pleasing Him
And bringing Him a smile.
I know He loves me as I am
And forgives me when I fall
And I’m so glad He knows my heart
And hears my every call.
But just because I love Him so,
At my life’s setting sun
I’d love to hear those precious words
“Dear child of mine, well done!”
