“It’s Like Pulling Teeth”
Many patients who have needed their wisdom teeth
removed have used oral surgeons.
Most oral surgeons heavily sedate their patients so
there is no memory of the hard work involved in removing
the indicated teeth. The expression “It’s like pulling teeth”
is around because the extraction of a tooth can be very
difficult.
Sometimes, removing a tooth is like trying to pry a
Coke© bottle out of hard concrete.
If I ever need a tooth removed, it is highly likely that I
will be visiting one of my friendly, local oral surgeons.
