Jesus was letting us know that the “food” for His entire
life, what nourished Him, what sustained Him, what supplied
Him, and what fed His daily life, was living His life
according to God’s will, living His life in line with the plan
that God mapped out for Him to fulfill. What food was to
His body, the plan of God was to His spirit. As food sustained
his physical life, the plan of God sustained His spiritual
life.
