C. Hopson-Above the Storm

The “ask” part of the prayer is where I lay down my
load. I tell God about all the things that are on my heart,
things I want to change but can’t. I pray for loved ones and
ask for specific things for each one. I take whatever concerns
me and leave it at Jesus’ feet. Then I can go on about
my day with a free spirit that’s ready to love and forgive
others. I’m ready to look for ways to serve the Lord
because I’m not consumed with my own circumstances or
worries.
