How careful we should be with a new gift of life! Just as a master gardener nourishes and fertilizes his plants, stakes them up as they grow, shelters them from harm and puts a fence of protection against wild animals around them, so should we put perimeters (God’s Word) of protection around our children. Boundaries are set for a reason. God has put a perfect plan for all to follow; a plan to bless and prosper our lives, not to harm us.
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
