For more than 50 years there has been ridicule in the Church for those who attempt to give a specific day for our Lord’s appearance. The Lord knew that only “end of the age” Christians could and would know that date… before it happened! There are several false doctrines taught to the Church today that prevent the Body of Christ from possessing a clear understanding of the Lord’s return.
For example, Scripture is clear that the Great Tribulation is a period of time that will start 30 days before the middle of the 70th week. It will begin with the setting up of an idol in a holy place, and will end 75 days after the Resurrection on the 1,335th day of the 70th week. Now that’s a specific day!
Further, many Christians do not understand that there is a difference between the Battle of Armageddon and the Battle of Gog/Magog. The Church is also not being taught the true severity of the Day of Wrath, or that the Resurrection-Wrath Day is an appointed day.
