YOU’RE IN AUTHORITY
Some Christians go through certain tests because they didn’t
stand their ground against the devil and exercise their authority over
him. By failing to take a stand against the enemy, the door was
opened to the enemy and the enemy took advantage of them. If the
door was opened to the enemy by failing to exercise authority over
him, then the door can be closed to the enemy by exercising authority
over him.
Some who are facing difficulties are waiting for God to do something
about their problem when God has already authorized them to
take a stand against the devil and put him on the run (Luke 10:19, I
Peter 5:8 & 9). If they don’t exercise their authority over the enemy,
nothing will be done in their behalf, for Jesus gave the believer
authority over the devil.
