My wife Mary and I tithe faithfully...it is the first thing we do
with our income. We have been blessed beyond our ability to
comprehend. We have also seen God work countless miracles on
our behalf. We love to see God glorified in our finances, but there
is another reason I am committed to tithing—I am afraid not to
tithe! Though I am still learning what it means to fear God with
my finances, I have seen enough to know that it is dangerous to
be cavalier with God’s holy portion. As a pastor, I see people all
the time paying a high price for keeping money that is rightfully
God’s.
