I love to know that I have Almighty God caring for me,
protecting me, and handling all the impossible situations in
my life! The problem is that I don't always remember this
or keep Him in His proper place in the battles of life. This
name for God was given to show that He was mighty and
strong in battle. When you have God as your all-powerful
leader, do you wait until the last minute and all else has
failed to call on Him? Of course not! You put Him at the
front of the battle lines to defeat the enemy. El Gibbor is the
One who wants to be our protection in the daily battles. He
wants to go before us and defeat the enemy, but we often
forget and only call on Him when we are at the end of our
rope.
