I am indebted to Pat Robertson for writing his book, The Secret Kingdom (which I highly recommend). It introduced me to the concept that there were principles by which God’s Kingdom operated. Since reading that book some twenty-five years ago, I have endeavored to explore this concept by biblical study and by putting the principles into action in the laboratory of life. By the grace of God I have tried to live as faithfully as possible to these principles over the past twenty-five years, neither turning from them to the left or to the right (Joshua 1:7). I began my study and apprenticeship to these Kingdom principles when I literally had nothing; I was totally stripped and felt absolutely defeated.
