Prayer Is NOT Optional if You Fear God!
Prayer is not optional if you desire to fear God. In fact, prayer
is the beginning of fearing the Lord! One facet of fearing God is
trusting Him and you must put that trust into action by being a
man or woman of prayer.
Friends, family, society—even fellow Christians and your
own mind at times—will tell you not to do what God wants you
to do. You will make wrong choices if you are not asking God to
guide you. If you want to live a victorious life in Jesus
Christ...able to overcome any obstacle...you must develop the
discipline of prayer.
I am not saying you must spend hours each day in prayer, but
you do need to develop the discipline of praying every day.
