You who fear the Lord praise Him. All you descendants
of Jacob glorify Him and stand in awe of Him all you
descendants of Israel. [Psalm 22:23]
Let all the earth fear the Lord, let all the inhabitants of
the world stand in awe of Him. [Psalm 33:8]
Unfortunately, many people disregard God because they do
not understand Him. Ironically, that is the very reason they
should be in awe of Him. No one can understand God or His
ways. He is far too great to comprehend. Personally, that makes
me feel secure! If I could understand God... predict His
actions...know His thoughts, I would be His equal. That would
make Him much too small to teach me, guide me, protect and
perfect me.
