The enemy will keep attacking, but we always have the
choice to trust God, give up our will and accept God’s plan
and, in that way, totally defeat his plan. Then we need to
thank God for loving us and ask Him to use us for His glory
in this circumstance. I’ve often asked God, in my weakness,
to shine a floodlight on my future. I wanted Him to
let me know why I was facing a certain trial or at least
show me how it was all going to turn out. Then I could be
oh so faithful! But, that is not God’s way.
He reminds me that:
His word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my
path.
(Psalm 119:105)
