We are to be continually arrayed in our spiritual armor for daily life and for prayer. Children are trained first by watching you. They will not rise much above what you do and believe. We must plug the leaks in the home by monitoring what they watch on TV, monitoring what game they are playing on Nintendo, monitoring what videos and movies they can watch.
